Another day in paradise

 

Mikuni

For better performance I installed a mikuni Vm30 on the triumph 500 dirtbike

 

Triumph mx 500

First time back on the track for both of us. For me it's been 12Years ,the bike about 50years 😀

 

Smaller carb for the dirtbike

I wanted some more power in low rpm so I took the Amal 928 from the pre unit and swapped  it with the 930. Mounted a monoblock carb on the pre unit again.

Also wrapped  the exhaustpipes with some heat tape because my boots were melting and made the front end stiffer ...

 

Triumph mx

Today I took the Triumph mx to a small track for some practice and testing. It went pretty well...

 

Triumph alloy gastank

Had to install a new gastank the old one started cracking / leaking on different places.
