Mikuni hsr40

Last week I installed a Mikuni flatslide on the Sportster.  This is A video of the first run.

Not much happend in motorcycle land for me. Because I'm to busy working around the house... This week I had some spare time and changed the sporty a bit with a cowl,  avon tracker tyres,....

Today I mounted the green gastank and relocated the coil.

The inner coating in the gastank needs to dry a few day's more. Better pics soon .

Yesterday we went out to pick up a 1992 pink/purple hd fxr for Tim but we came home with this 1984 fx wide glide. Muchmuch better than an fxr 😆 

 

But it's an none runner and needs some TLC.

Sportster update

Some small things happend this week. Installed the compufire ignition, new rearbrake brakelight switch and new fluid, cilinderheads are cleaned and ready with new James valve stem seals.

To the sportster. I found 1200cc cilinder barrels on the web , ordered a set 10:1 high compression Keith Black pistons and a adjustable compufire ignition .
